Hi, I'm Natalie
Welcome to my website, I am an illustrator and a full time mum to yarn bo young children.
I was born in the UK and emigrated to Melbourne, Australia with my husband in 2014 and we started a family here.
I studied and obtained a degree in illustration at the University of the creative Arts in Kent.
Since having children, I have become addicted to children's picture books and LOVE spending time at local / state libraries in search of new picture books or joining in storytime with my children. Seeing so many beautiful illustrated children's books has inspired me to get back into what I enjoy most, creating illustrations that tell a story and bring joy to people around the world.
I have had the opportunity to showcase some of my artwork in the Foreigner Cafe in Ivanhoe, to which a few of them have sold.
Mostly I work with traditional mediums such as coloured pencils, watercolour and gouache paints with bright and whimsical colours, but I also enjoy working digitally in procreate, and mixing mediums together.
